Yellow and orange snapdragon-like flowers are a good late nectar and pollen source for bumblebees, butterflies and moths.
Common Toadflax also attracts several species of moth including the aptly named Toadflax Pug Moth (Eupithecia linariata) who’s caterpillars feed on the flowers and seed pods.
Advised to plant in informal groups to encourage recognition and attract bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects.
